Problème "Disque dur défaillant"

Hello everyone,
I am reaching out for your help because for several months my laptop {ACER Aspire 5100} has been having issues with startup. Indeed, when I turn on the laptop, the Acer page with component verification appears, but almost at the end of this verification [which is usually very quick], there are two 'error' beeps and a black page saying "failure fixed disk."
In browsing various forums, I’m not the only one experiencing this problem, and many deduce that the hard drive is dead. As for me, I’ve only managed to get the computer to turn on after a few attempts.
This week, I got a bit fed up with this issue and decided to replace my hard drive.
After the technical installation of the HDD, the same issue: two error beeps. I restart, and it works. I then install Windows XP, and the restarts occur without any problems [I’m starting to smile]. I install my various drivers without any issues as well, then restart without any problem again. That’s when the laptop starts to heat up, [I heard the fan running quite fast...] and suddenly it shuts down, and since then it’s back to how it was before. [I’m no longer smiling]
Do you have any advice to help me, please? Has anyone else had this problem?
