Hi, the shift key is the key you hold down when you want to make a capital letter.
It's a key with an arrow pointing up. It's located above the control (ctrl) key.

Yes, the "shift" is the uppercase key. But Sissi, I don't quite understand, what do you mean by an "English keyboard"? A QWERTY keyboard?
