Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 display issue

Good evening, I have a small issue with RCT3 when I want to play. I launch the game, then a black screen appears with the message "Check your computer's display settings". I have already tried a lot of things without results, the same problem occurs for the demo. All my drivers are up to date, I am on XP SP1, I have also tried running it in 256 colors without results, so I'm a bit stuck. If someone could help me please, I would really appreciate it ^^. Thank you in advance.

My configuration:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 3GHz
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT (256 MB)
Memory: 3GB

    For your information, I have
    XP SP2
    NVIDIA Geforce 6600
    optimal 32bit
    1024*768
    and it has been working since ...

    You may (perhaps) need Service Pack 2, which has been out since ....

    You should
    - back up your personal files on CD-ROM or elsewhere
    - check your disk (chkdsk on startup)
    - defragment your disk
    - do a Windows update which should install SP2

    You may have disabled Microsoft upgrades
    after SP2
    if that doesn't work
    uninstall
    and reinstall the game
    without changing anything at the game startup

    if it has loaded once
    you can change the video settings afterwards

    SP2 does not upgrade drivers
    you may also need DirectX
