Hello,
When I want to use the document feeder of my SHARP AR-201 photocopier, the machine, after the "beam" (the scanner I think) has scanned once from left to right, stops and the error code E then 7 appears.
When I place the document to be copied directly on the glass, there is no problem, everything works.
What does this code mean and what is the remedy for this malfunction of my photocopier?
Thank you in advance

You just need to clean and reposition the 2 white references that are on each side of the small glass on the right. (if moisture gets between the glass and the millar, the code may occur)
otherwise, it is important to take note of the sub-code while holding the green button (e.g. E7 00)

Can you be more specific about the nature of your error (on the computer or on the copier)? If it's on the copier, it gives you, for example, a letter and a number flashing like this: E 7 E 7 E 7.....
Your code is: E7
Then, to find out your sub-code, press the copy start button (green button) for example: 00
Your sub-code is: 00
This gives you a code E7 00
I can't be more explicit...

Hello,
the SAGEM mf9625 is a base SHARP model that resembles the MX-2300, look below for all the codes listed.
E7
05 Local MFP memory access error
just like on a PC there is a motherboard on it which features a processor and RAM memory, it is specifically this memory that seems to be faulty.
Error message Unable to access local memory.
Case 1 Cause Local memory installation error
Check the local memory installation.
Case 2 Cause Dirt on the pins of the local memory module
Clean the pins of the memory module.
Case 3 Cause Confused data
1) Use SIM60-01 to control memory read/write
2) Replace the memory.
3) Replace the MFPcnt board.

1- It’s the chip that is located behind the toner cartridge; you just need to change the black cartridge
This chip called "icsheet" burns out after a certain number of prints or after three consecutive searches (but usually generates a U2-40
2 - If the problem persists, check the drum to be replaced
Make sure that the screw conveyor between the cartridge and the drum is not clogged (gently vacuum with a vacuum cleaner), which would cause an ink feed issue.

Hello,
you did not specify that your code was on an AR-M205, the explanations above are valid for the AR-160 and AR-205 series...
The following procedure to enter simulation mode on AR-M205
Key "#"
Interrupt Key
Key "C"
Interrupt Key
14
start
Warning for using this manipulation without having all the technical knowledge of the product, this manipulation only cancels the error code but does not repair the machine in any way. This error code indicates the component in question that is very often defective.
For your error code H2 00, if it works with another "fixation" (heating assembly), I advise you to change your thermistor (ref:RDTCT0005QSZ1).
Code details:
H2 00:
Open thermistor
Detail The thermistor is open.
The fusing unit is not installed.
Cause Thermistor fault
Control board fault
Disconnection of the connector from the fixation section
The fusing unit is not installed.
Verification and solution
Check the wiring and connector between the thermistor and the board.
Use SIMULATION (#, Interrupt, C, Interrupt, 14, start) to clear the autonomous diagnostic display.

Hello,
for error code H2, it's a problem with the heating roller temperature, thermistor (which is a thermometer that measures the temperature of the heating roller), the thermal contact (a round part one centimeter in diameter pressed against the heating roller by copper strips), or the halogen lamp.
It may be that paper dust or ink accumulates on the thermistor and prevents accurate temperature measurement.
If and only if the roller is completely cold, it might also be that the thermal contact has tripped. There must be continuity between the two terminals. To reset it, you need to detach the bimetallic strip inside (for this, do not hesitate to disassemble it and gently drop it on the floor until continuity is established between the two terminals).
If and only if the roller is completely cold, it might also be that the lamp is faulty.
After cleaning and checking, cancel the error message.
You need to enter secret simulation mode.
Press the keys one after the other:
C (red: clear)
=- (interrupt or pause button)
0 (0 key on the numeric keypad)
=- (interrupt or pause button)
Type: 14 then start copy
Restart the copier.
Enjoy!!!

Hello, I would like to know about the error code F2-66 (Toner supply fault (MAGENTA) PCU) on a Sharp MX2300N
and what the exact problem is! I have changed the magenta ink cartridge and it keeps displaying this error, making it impossible to print
Is it a problem with the cartridge or the machine's sensor
Thank you for your response.

If the problem persists after cleaning the white band under the display glass, you need to update the photocopier's firmware, as this is a known issue with Sharp. The tolerance is a bit low, and the machine triggers this code due to a little humidity or dust.

Hello,
when I start my Sharp AR 5010 photocopier, it displays the error code H4.
What can I do to resolve this issue?
Please help me, it’s very urgent.
Thank you.

Hello,
you can already look at the information above, so the h4 code is the fixing, it's up to you to find the sub-code for precision.
you can reset your code
the following procedure is to enter simulation mode on AR-M205 (equivalent to 5015)
Press “#”
Press Interrupt
Press “C”
Press Interrupt
(at this point, the copier should turn off) otherwise, you need to go faster...
numeric keys: 1 4
start
if you still have your code, your problem is with the heating assembly (the fixing). thermal fuse, lamp, or thermistor (the fixing would be hot).

code E7 under code 05 Content CCD black level trouble
Detail CCD black level which is read
while the copy lamp is off is abnormal.
Cause
Flat cable installation failure
CCD unit abnormality
MCU PWB abnormality
Check and remedy
Check flat cable installation to the CCD unit.
CCD unit check
MCU PWB check
For info, the CCD is the part that reads your document on the glass. The CCD is located under the glass in a metal box. Under this box, we have optical lenses, a CCD bar accompanied by the CCD board.
To change this part, consult a professional as it is factory-adjusted, and in case of replacement, precise adjustments need to be made.
The only things to check are the condition of the flat cable on the CCD board and the proper connection, be careful as it is fragile.
