sorry to bother you but here is my problem: I have a PS2 SCPH-50004 with a Matrix Infinity v1.93 chip, and I can't read my game backups. The PS2 tells me to please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 disc, and I don't know if I should use DVD-R or DVD+R. Thank you for your responses.

Yeah, but I have a friend who has the chip and he burns on DVD+R.

You need DVD-Rs and a chip, but copying is illegal if you don't own the original!!!   R+ discs don't work, nor do DVD RW + or -!

I also flashed my PS2 and bought games in Morocco, and mine works. When it tells you to insert a PS2 game, you hold down the green button for a long time, it turns off, then you turn it back on at the back of the PS2, and normally it works.
