Hello, I would like to ask you what I should do? My laptop has a problem, an element appears on the screen attrib.exe application error, the application failed to start correctly. Click OK to close. After clicking OK, the screen goes black or the computer starts to restart. Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    Download and install the antimalware software "FRST", then run a scan and post the two logs here for analysis!

    Hello @Tito141923 StatusMember.

    Your version of Windows 10 is not up to date; it dates back to 2019, which means you're 5 years behind. attrib.exe is a file belonging to Windows, so it's normal for Windows to function poorly with such an outdated update.

    Procedure to follow in the indicated order:

    1- Open FRST as an administrator. To do this, right-click on FRST and choose Run as administrator
    2- Copy the entire script in the box below:

     Start:: CreateRestorePoint: CloseProcesses: ShortcutAndArgument: Send to.lnk -> C:\Windows\System32\wscript.exe => "C:\Users\Public\a.js" Startup: C:\Users\LENOVO\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\USBfichier.Vbs [2024-07-01] () [Unsigned file] ContextMenuHandlers1: [ANotepad++64] -> {B298D29A-A6ED-11DE-BA8C-A68E55D89593} => -> No file ContextMenuHandlers1: [BriefcaseMenu] -> {85BBD920-42A0-1069-A2E4-08002B30309D} => -> No file ContextMenuHandlers3: [{4A7C4306-57E0-4C0C-83A9-78C1528F618C}] -> {4A7C4306-57E0-4C0C-83A9-78C1528F618C} => -> No file ContextMenuHandlers6: [BriefcaseMenu] -> {85BBD920-42A0-1069-A2E4-08002B30309D} => -> No file SearchScopes: HKU\S-1-5-21-2136440893-3744211162-2989140377-1001 -> DefaultScope {0633EE93-D776-472f-A0FF-E1416B8B2E3A} URL = FirewallRules: [UDP Query User{5503D800-A24A-48F4-B1A7-FC99C1B6648A}E:\sdi_rus\sdi_x64_r1790.exe] => (Allow) E:\sdi_rus\sdi_x64_r1790.exe => No file FirewallRules: [TCP Query User{7FF13269-33B1-4EFD-A007-143575F2FE0C}E:\sdi_rus\sdi_x64_r1790.exe] => (Allow) E:\sdi_rus\sdi_x64_r1790.exe => No file End::

    3- Once the script is copied, click on Fix, FRST will automatically take the script from the clipboard.

    Let the fix complete; once it is finished, you will be asked to restart your PC, do it as soon as prompted, see below.

    Then once your computer restarts:
    4- You will have a Fixlog file on your desktop, then send this fixlog report to https://www.cjoint.com/ or https://pixeldrain.com/

    Then provide the generated link from https://www.cjoint.com/ or https://pixeldrain.com/ in your response.

    5- Update Windows 10:

    Go to Windows Update; the update to version 22H2 should be offered to you. If not, go to this page, click on Update, this will launch the download of the Microsoft tool. You will just need to open it, and it will allow you to update Windows 10 to the latest version and tell you if it is compatible with your PC. Be aware that this update takes some time.

    6- CHECK AND LET ME KNOW IF YOUR PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS.

    Your PC is a very low-end, not very powerful PC, if, as I think, your PC is very slow, you should uninstall the Eset antivirus as it significantly slows down your PC; the Windows 10 antivirus will automatically take over. It's just advice, it's up to you to follow it or not.

    For your information, note that your Intel(R) UHD Graphics 600 graphics card is having an issue in the device manager with the error "code 43".

        Uninstall FRST, rename the FRST file you downloaded to uninstall, then once the file is renamed, open it; the uninstallation will happen automatically via a PC restart.
