Convert a subfolder to a folder

Hello,

In Thunderbird, one of my folders has secretly become a subfolder of the folder just above it in the hierarchy, with no relation between the two.

How can I do the opposite, meaning that this subfolder becomes a folder again, as it originally was? In other words, how can I make it independent again?

Hello,

Besides moving (right-click) the messages from the subfolder to the folder, you then delete the subfolder.
