Hello,
This corresponds quite exactly to the stamps placed by administrations and companies on paper documents, to authenticate the passage through a service or to facilitate their filing.
The publisher therefore offers a small library of messages (for example, "urgent", "done", etc.) that, to my knowledge, can be complemented by personalized inscriptions.

You cannot write in a PDF: you can add texts, annotations...
A stamp is an encased text, like when the artisan stamps the invoice "Paid".
The one that spills the most ink in PDF Xchange Editor is the one that appears by default "Demo" in the trial version.
