        Yes, in principle you are always "the owner" of what you post on FB and therefore you have the option to delete what you post.
        You have your reasons and I'm not here to judge, but keep in mind that deleting a post also removes the replies attached to it. This can affect readability, so it's up to you to consider (or not).
