Hello,

I am currently entering the exam scores into an Excel spreadsheet.

The scores for 2 subjects are out of 20, and I would like to convert them so that each is out of 16.666, and therefore the total of the 2 scores gives a cumulative total out of 60.

Can you help me?

Thank you

    Hello,

For each of the grades use =A1/20*16.666

But I don't see how grades out of 16.666 result in grades out of 60...

In fact, there are 3 subjects out of 20. But the total of the 3 grades must be out of 50.

So each subject must be out of 16.666

      Because 16.666 x 3 = 49.998 (and we round up)
