deleting emails on multiple devices

Question

Bonjour, I use Outlook for my Yahoo Mail on the PC, on the phone I use the Yahoo Mail app, and I also have a Gmail account.  How can I delete emails on all platforms? Thank you in advance.

For that, you need to use the IMAP protocol, which ensures synchronization between the folders of a server account and their counterparts on client devices. However, this protocol has its dangers because if messages are deleted from the server, they also disappear from all devices using IMAP.

Overall, it is simply a matter of moving the emails to be kept, which are located in the account's folders, to temporary or other classification folders that are not under the account in question, then deleting the account definition in Outlook and other applications and redefining it as IMAP.
The IMAP protocol will import all the messages from the folders that are on the server and will then be synchronized after a restart.
