Hello
I have a connection issue on Meetic: I haven't been back to the site for 4 months because I met my current partner, but I didn't log out; I completely forgot about it.... My partner, being a bit suspicious, checked my profile two weeks ago and saw that I was online less than 24 hours ago. He went back for two consecutive days and saw that I was online once within 48 hours and another time within 24 hours, which caused a huge crisis because I told him I never go there, but he doesn’t want to listen.... I’ve contacted Meetic’s customer service several times, and they say it’s because I didn’t log out and that plugging my phone into my car via CarPlay activates the connection. I showed the email from Meetic to my partner, but he doesn’t want to hear it (he works in IT). Can someone help me understand what happened and what I could do to prove my good faith to him? I even wrote a registered letter to the manager of Meetic to get access to my account activity for the past 4 months; of course, there’s been no response and no acknowledgment of receipt for the registered letter.
Thank you all for reading, and if anyone can help me with advice: log out of Meetic when you've found love!

Hello, I just saw the same thing regarding the person I have been talking to for almost 3 months. Below their profile, it says they were online within the last 24 hours, and I’m wondering if they’ve made a new connection or if they haven’t logged onto the site since we started talking. I’m not feeling well; I’m questioning things, and I don’t know if I should bring it up with them. Thank you.
From what you're saying, it’s already a form of “indirect surveillance” that you’re doing; personally, I’d fire someone in that mindset right away.
Good grief, it's a dating site, not a 'you belong to me' site :-)
