Hello, I'm looking for information about a painter who signed under the name Sarbel. He lived in the vicinity of Brest. I believe he died around the time of World War II. My grandmother used to take paintings from him in exchange for meals at the Casino du Moulin Blanc.
Apparently, his real name was Le Bras.
Who could help me with this?

    Anatole Le Braz or Le Bras signed a poem Sarbel (an anagram of his name)
