Hello,
I am completely a novice in IT and need to change my internal hard drive (apparently defective: Model HGST KCC-REM-HTB-TS7SAF100 of 1TB) on my ASUS G751JM-T7041H. Which model should I choose? SSD? or not?

    what do you mean "apparently defective"?

    for a laptop, it's a 2.5" hard drive (if a 7mm is needed, be careful that the hard drive is 7mm thick, to be measured on your current hard drive)

    it's good to choose an SSD but it will also depend on how much storage you use, 1TB of hard drive costs around €50, at that price in SSD, we get 240GB (all SSDs are 7mm)
