I have a Thomson TV and there is an application that could be IPTV, which is OTTplayer.

You can't do that on your TV; it doesn't allow you to install applications from elsewhere, like on a PC or a phone.

However, you can connect a miracle box that would do that to an HDMI port on your TV... it's called a STB "Set Top Box."

You can install the applications you need on it; it's Android, like smartphones... "Kodi" is a prime example.

This Box needs to be connected to the internet, and through that and the applications in place, you can watch TV in IPTV on your TV... and catch up on replays.

Be careful; you still need a good internet speed, especially with ADSL.
