Remove startup programs

Hello,

I have an Acer E5-575G laptop and I would like to remove some programs that start automatically at boot.

These are:
- Acer Portal
- Acer Care Center
- Intel Rapid Storage Technology

I tried using the "Startup" section of the "Task Manager," but these programs are not there. I also checked the registry, but they are not starting from there either.

Are there any other possibilities for a program to start at boot?

    Two possibilities
    Either through Ccleaner in startup tools
    Or through MSCONFIG

    You also have "Slowin' Killer" to disable unnecessary processes at startup
    you download it on your "Desktop"

    - Click on "Auto Improvement"
    - At the end of the scan, a report will be available in the interface and on the desktop.
    The PC will restart.

    Thank you for your help.

    The software does not appear in Ccleaner and Msconfig (Task Manager).
    I haven't tried Slowin' Killer; generally, these types of software do more harm than good.
    These programs must be launched by something!

    Good evening,
    Click on the Start button, go to Acer then Acer Care Center
    Launch --> Acer Care Center
    look at the tab --> System Tuneup
    then check Startup applications
    all applications will then be listed
    If they are there, just disable them

    You can also launch Acer Care Center from the icon next to the time

    As pointed out by lilidurhone have you checked in the right place with CCleaner
    open CCleaner --> tools --> Startup --> tab Windows

    Hi Pistouri,

    Thank you for your help and these beautiful images.
    Unfortunately, the 3 files do not appear in "Startup" of Acer Care Center.
    Nor in CCleaner (I had checked where it was needed).

    There are certainly other ways for a software to launch automatically at Windows startup.

    If someone who knows could please let us know?

    I found the answer on another forum.
    I had to look in the "scheduled tasks" tab and not just in the "windows" tab.

    There you go, if that can help.
