Hello everyone,
Listen, I'm moving into my first apartment, and before putting all my furniture in place, I'm tidying up my electrical setup as well as my internet installation.
I wanted to know if I can put my internet modem in a cabinet?
Indeed, the layout of my apartment allows me to access behind a piece of furniture at my connection point, so will putting the modem (Wi-Fi) in a cabinet weaken the quality of the wireless network?
Thank you for your responses :)

Hi,
And I wanted to know if I can put my internet modem in a cabinet?
Yes, it is even mandatory for you to install a communication cabinet on a GTL if you are renovating your entire electrical installation, that's the NF-C15-100 standard
As for the wifi network, it all depends on where you use it in relation to the box, but it's certain that the closer you are, the better it is.
Additionally, you can always extend a wifi access point at the end of an RJ45 socket.
and ... There you go!
