LG G Flex System Update

Hello,

Dear friends, I have recently acquired an LG G Flex smartphone. It is running Android 4.2, an old version.
Every time I try to update directly via the phone, I get the message:
''Your device is not registered...''

And when I try to perform this update via LG PC Suite, I get this message:
''Check the status of your device and try again''

What status is being referred to and how can I resolve it?

Note that I have registered this device with an account created on LG's own website.

Can someone help me ???????

    Hello,

    Either your device is "rooted" and therefore LG no longer provides updates, or your system is modified in some other way that I don't know about, which means that updates are no longer provided either.

      How can I resume the update service for the LG, or undo the ''Root''?
