Hello,
Five years ago, an electrician installed a 10-key (0-9), * and # keypad on the electric gate that controls the opening. There is no control screen. A 4-digit code must be entered to open the gate. Given that many people know the code we had to provide them during renovation work, we wish to change it.
Unfortunately, our relationship with the electrician ended badly, and we have no indication (model) or user manual regarding this keypad. It is covered with a stainless steel casing.
Is there a standard trick in this kind of situation? I was particularly thinking of pressing a series of buttons (like *0000#), including the current code, of course, and then entering the new code...
Could someone please help me?
Thank you for your attention and best regards,
Chazey

Hello,
During the installation, did your electrician not give you a document, a user manual, or something similar?
It's difficult to try to guide you without knowing what we're talking about!
Perhaps with the help of a photo, we would have a better chance of identifying this keypad!
Best regards.
