Hello everyone,
Here I am in my first year of master’s and I have to write a research thesis. In it, I conducted a questionnaire on stress (Karasek), and to process the results, I need to create a graph (a scatter plot), which is a bit complex.
I will provide a link to make it easier to explain; I need to create this kind of graph:
http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=karasek+&FORM=HDRSC2#view=detail&id=3FBB23117C1375B137EF8B2957B43545EF21F513&selectedIndex=45
There are two medians: one at 71 and another at 20.
So for each subject, I have two scores.
But I'm really struggling with this, I hope it’s somewhat clear.
Thank you for your help!

Hello
What bothers you in this graph?
To draw the lines, you need to define two points for each and add these two series to your graph
As for the labels of the points, you might need to go through a macro (nothing too bad)
Can you send the data section in Excel 2003 format, on cjoint.com and include the link obtained in your next message
Best regards

Hello ccm81,
What bothers me is that I don't know how to approach it. To make x dependent on y and also to create point labels and medians. I can do basic graphs, but in this case...
I've created the link:

Thank you already,
It's practically that, except that the thresholds for the medians are not correct: they are defined in advance and not based on my series:
- for decision latitude the median is at 71.
- For mental requirement the median is at 20.
One last thing: on the x-axis there should be mental requirements and on the y-axis decision latitude.
