Hello.
I formatted my iPod from my desktop PC and since then nothing works.
My PC doesn't detect anything at all.
The only image displayed on the iPod is: connect to a power outlet.
If anyone has encountered this same problem and managed to solve it, could you kindly let me know the solution.
Thank you in advance to everyone who can help....
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.3

Hello everyone,
I'm going to give you a few tips for iPods on Mac and PC via FireWire or USB: it's universal.
What happens is that iPods can never be read on a PC with the Mac format.
You need to format them correctly on a PC if you want to be able to read them on your Mac. So you have to format it to FAT32 and not NTFS. The FAT32 format is also visible on Mac, so there’s no problem synchronizing it on both computers. For those whose iPods are no longer visible on Windows or Mac, the problem might be that it has been formatted to NTFS, and there is a solution for that. Depending on the generation of your iPod, go to Apple Support and make it visible on your computer by following the steps provided. I did this with my older generation, and it worked. You basically need to force the reboot and connect it to your PC to reformat it.

I hope this works for you
Talk to you later!

I have a huge problem...!!!!
When I plug my iPod into a USB port, my computer does not recognize it.
Moreover, when I'm on iTunes, I cannot sync my music, photos, videos, etc...
Does anyone have a solution, please???

There are two solutions: either it's your firewall that is blocking the connection from your iPod (which happened to my sister) or I don't know. I hope someone has another answer. Otherwise, you can go to an Apple store. Bye.
