A script error has occurred on this page

Question

Hello,

I'm posting here because what I'm experiencing seems quite like a virus or some other nasty stuff. For the past two days, every time I open a webpage, I receive this error message: "a script error has occurred on this page," with different errors presented: "syntax error," etc... it changes all the time.
What has driven me up the wall is that this error completely prevents me from watching videos (on YouTube, for example), because the message keeps popping up, preventing me from accessing any other command.
I've reset Internet Explorer, to no avail.
I've done a system restore, without success.
I'm stuck. I don't know what else to do. I've scoured forums, but without finding a solution. Windows, for the past week or two, has been prompting me to upgrade to Internet Explorer 10. What do you think?
I should note that my antivirus Bitdefender hasn't detected anything.

Isn't it rather Adobe or your internet reader (I don't know how to say that ^^)?
Try updating Adobe if you haven't done so. Is Bitdefender a complete antivirus? Otherwise, there's Avast, which is good and free.

So it could indeed correspond to an Adobe update that I did two or three days ago. It was on April 27 exactly, I updated Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX. Should I uninstall it or try to revert to the previous version?

In my opinion, it would have worked with the new version... But just put the old one back, it doesn’t cost anything.

I can delete all the files related to this update, but I don't know how to revert to the previous version... In "properties", searching for previous versions yields nothing.
If I simply delete the files downloaded on April 27, will that be a problem?
I should add that I don't update Java because I tried version 7.10 and it caused a lot of issues for me.

First, try to go to the Adobe website to see if they have the old versions, and if so, download the old one. I think it might work; otherwise, I don't see any other solution... And for the things to delete, I advise against it.
