No program is associated with this file.

Hello,

Recently, when I try to open one of my folders, the following error message appears: "no program is associated with this file to perform this action. Create an association using the Folder Options application in the Control Panel." The problem is that no programs are needed to open a folder. I've tried everything except reformatting, which I'd prefer to avoid. So I have to right-click/open to access my folders. I would like to find a way to change the default action, which is now "cmd" instead of "open." Thank you in advance.

    Good evening,

Download this utility --> RstAssociations Version .scr
and put it on the desktop.

    Run it as an administrator
In Selection, click on --> All
In Actions, click on --> Restore

    Restart the pc
