I would like to automatically switch from A3 format to A4 format without making any changes (Word).

Another solution: print your A3 document as a PDF, then open that PDF in Acrobat Reader and print it (Acrobat Reader is capable of adapting the document to the paper output).

I've often done this to print A3 documents in A4.

Hi,

In your printer options, you surely have the "scaling" option. If you choose A4 from the list, it will allow you to print in A4 format any input (larger or smaller)
