What does "Handycam" mean?

Hello,

so, I want to buy a camcorder and I saw that it says "handycam"! what does that mean ??

    Handycam is a series, a line of Sony video devices.

    Now, "handy" is an English adjective meaning practical, easy, convenient. As for "cam", it is the diminutive of "camera" meaning in this context device.
