Mouse pointer turning into a magnifying glass...

Hello,
For the past few days, my mouse pointer has been turning into a magnifying glass without me touching anything!
As a result, navigating online and on my computer has become difficult with the constant size changes. (I've rewritten this message three times because the magnifying glass keeps erasing my message, grrr)
I have to restart my computer to make it stop. Sometimes I can type on my touchpad (on my laptop), but it comes back a few minutes later.
I've looked online to see if anyone else has had the same issue. But nothing, so I've decided to write to you to see if someone might have a solution. I think my one-year-old daughter must have activated a feature by typing on my keyboard.
