ps3 error 80710092 Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,  I can't connect to PSN anymore; it always gives me error 80710092. What should I do?  Thank you   Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Good evening, error *80710092 disconnect from Playstation Network, cause: loss of connection (often Wi-Fi).

But tonight it's not the Wi-Fi, it's the PSN blocked due to too many requests (maps cod black ops first strike).

Me too, I bought the PS3 this morning (second-hand) but I doubt that being second-hand is the issue. I'm also connected to the Livebox but not via WiFi (with a cable), it's really annoying. I'm open to all solutions =)

Hello everyone, my PS3 is showing error code 80710092, while the PSN seems to be working fine. Yesterday I was able to play without any issues, and today I keep getting this error message. (I have reconnected 3 times, I have activated and deactivated Wi-Fi at least 10 times and it still doesn't work) Thank you in advance for your responses.

Thank you udodirck but it’s getting weirder and weirder because during an evening the connection started working again and the next day nothing. (and the friend I play with just had the same problem today)

Hello, I have this problem (error 80710092) when trying to install a game on my PS3... I don't understand why I'm getting an error message regarding the server when I want to install a game to play offline... Anyway, to play online, I stick to my Wii, Sony can go see the Greeks, their system is really crap.

You need to change the DNS in the network settings. Set the primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4, and it will work.
