Freebox stuck on the fixed rectangle

Hello,

New Free subscriber for about 3 weeks (just moved in), everything was working perfectly until now.

However, since yesterday the Freebox is stuck on the fixed rectangle.
Several reboot attempts did not change anything (slow then fast flashing, rectangle blinking 2/3 times then remains fixed), nor did swapping the Freeplug with the HD box.

For your information, NRA = CHS44

I’ve browsed quite a few forums to find similar cases and from what I’ve seen, it could be:
- either a more general problem like at the DSLAM level, but I haven't seen anything on frimousse or elsewhere suggesting that,
- or a wiring issue on my end, but this is a 2007 apartment, no modular sockets but a RJ45 phone socket so we can rule out the "condo" issue, and since it was working perfectly until now, I have doubts,
- or a power supply issue (Freeplug) but I tried swapping with the one from the HD box without success, so unless both went faulty at the same time but they've only been here for 3 weeks - I still have doubts...
- or ...?

If you have any ideas or if you’re in the same area (Saint-Herblain) and are experiencing the same problem, I’d be interested to know.
Otherwise, I will contact the ATP which seems to be available here.

Thank you in advance!!
Fab

The fixed rectangle is an ADSL "sync" problem, which means it comes from an issue between the DSLAM and the input on the Freebox.

So you can ignore the freeplug and the connection between the box and the HD.

There are several reasons for losing ADSL sync: either a problem at your place (wiring, wall socket, faulty ADSL filter)

or it could be an issue on your line between the DSLAM and your wall.

If you are sure of your installation, contact Free support.
