Windows 7 startup password Solved

Question

Hello, I installed Windows 7 on my computer, but it asks me for my password every time I start the computer. I know my password; I set it to protect myself from the network, so I don't want to remove it, but I would like to disable the password request at startup if possible.  (to be able to run scheduled tasks at night without it getting stuck on an authentication request)  Thank you for your help, happy new year & evening

I've found it, thank you  you need to type "netplwiz" in the Windows search.  and uncheck the box: users must enter a username and password to use this computer  and just below there's even a box for "ctrl alt del" :p  have a good evening

Do you mean before starting Windows, like "bios<---security<--password<---disable? or on Windows start<--control panel<---user accounts<---change password?

It is not possible; either you set a password or you don’t. The password is there to protect your account and your session, so if it is active, you must authenticate yourself; if not, it needs to be removed. So we cannot protect ourselves from the "network" without a password, that’s what it’s for. -- Advice: Be PRECISE and COMPLETE in describing the problem to get a response :-) Read the charter; it can help you understand "how it works".

I understand, yet it seems to me that with Windows XP there was a checkbox to avoid having to log in at startup.  Thank you for the information.

but why would you not want to remove it, but have it be automatic, that doesn't make sense.

In fact, in my field, when a computer tries to access my computer via the local network, it needs a password. But I got tired of having to enter my password 10 times a day when I'm at my computer.

The goal of all this would be, in the end, to be able to launch a defragmentation and a scan automatically with scheduled tasks (the BIOS starts the computer automatically), without me needing to be in front of the computer.
