    Hello,

    The component most likely to overheat is the battery. If the battery is removable, remove it and check what’s going on while staying plugged into the mains only; otherwise have the battery inspected and replaced.

        The battery may be slightly swollen, indicating a chemical reaction within the cells. In this case, handle it with precautions and do not leave it within reach of children (or other people) as there is a risk of explosion.
