TV movie, trapped in a department store

Hello,

Like many of you, I watch movies and sometimes forget the titles of some, including this one: a made-for-TV American film from the 80s or 90s seen on TF1 or M6: During the Christmas period in a shopping mall, a man and a woman find themselves locked in a store all night...

With the little clue I have left, I believe the man was in a costume (as Santa Claus, as a chick or something else) and was part of the store's staff in the toy department?

    I finally found the title: THE CHRISTMAS FATHER'S TRAP, a French TV movie by Christian Faure starring Yvon Back

    Story: On Christmas Eve, a businesswoman and the Santa Claus from a large department store find themselves trapped in the building's elevator. They wait all night.

    Summary: It’s Christmas Eve. Agathe, a businesswoman, is set to meet her future in-laws for the first time at the midnight mass. In the meantime, she goes shopping to find a gift for Donald, her fiancé. She rushes into a large department store with Babou, her lifelong friend. However, due to a series of unfortunate events, she ends up trapped in an elevator with Gilles, the store's Santa Claus, a broke actor. While Babou, frantic with worry, alerts the police, Agathe is forced to spend the entire night with this grumpy and defeatist character. But the night is far from over and holds more surprises for them...

    Hello, like you, I'm looking for a movie... I think it's the same one.
    A man is dressed as Santa Claus, there's a young woman who comes to the department store to buy a Yule log, and she ends up locked in, I also know there's a child.

    I was maybe thinking more of a French film.
    Moreover, I can clearly picture how the man looks, but I don't know his name.

    I would have said the title is "A NIGHT AT THE DEPARTMENT STORE."
    But since I haven't had much response, I don't think that's it.
