Watch a film from a USB key on an Xbox 360

Hello, in what format can you watch a movie from a USB key on an Xbox 360? If someone can help me that would be nice, thank you 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    You need to go to the interface menu "Video Library" then "Mobile Device" (USB) and the contents of your USB flash drive or USB hard drive will appear. It reads .AVI, .WMV, .Divx, and the same goes for photos and music (Image Library, Music Library).

      With a software, personally I use the software "Format Factory"—it's a good thing ;)

    However, following the 360 generation, an update must be performed from Xbox Live, requested automatically and completely free but which requires a connection.

    Me too I can’t either, my Xbox 360 only reads the Music & Images on my MP4 or my PSP... :(
    BUT I FOUND THE SOLUTION HERE

      You must plug your USB key into the back of your Xbox and not at the front to browse your files ... ;)
