Hello,
I have a problem with my Freebox TV HD connection via powerline adapter (CPL) using an electrical outlet. When I turn it on on my Samsung LCD TV, the image is perfect but the colors flicker, either with a red or blue dominant, while the image remains stable. I have rebooted several times but nothing has worked.
Has anyone had the same problem and can you help me resolve it?
I called Free and they told me that everything was fine and that it was a connection issue.
I would like to point out that if I connect the powerline adapter and the Freebox TV HD to another TV, which is cathodic, the image and colors are perfect with no flickering color issues.

Solution:
1) Connect the Freebox HD to the TV via SCART on AV1 (RGB)
2) Freebox HD / Menu / Settings / Display: check the following
Output -> RGB
HDMI Resolution -> Auto
Format -> Auto
3) Confirm that "color flickering on Samsung TV with Free" is resolved.

  Same problem with SFR... the settings are not exposed the same way, but it helped me. Thank you ???????? .For your information, I switched from HDMI to Peritel and vice versa...

I confirm: using the AV1 scart input and it no longer flickers.

Yes, the Peritel must be switched to AV1

I confirm you need to set it to AV1 (by the way, RGB is at the back) on a Samsung LCD

Hello,

I have the same problem with my Samsung TV. Behind the TV, I have 2 SCART sockets and I swapped the one for the HD Freebox with the one for the DVD player, and since then I have no more issues.

Hello, same problem but what do we do if we don't want the scart :)
I'm having the same issue with the S-video and composite connectors...

Is it related to the powerline adapter? (I'm a bit lazy to look for the antennas and activate the wifi...)

Hello,
I have this color flickering issue with the TV (Philips TV, via SCART, otherwise the picture is fine), but sometimes it works well for an hour (colors are fine) and then suddenly, it starts flickering.... Have you experienced this too?

All the answers are already on the site. How it works: if there is still a problem connecting with an HDMI cable, make sure the connection exists on your TV.

Hello
same problem: Samsung connected TV with the latest generation Freebox (September 09) via scart.
Connection on AV1 but persistent problem, despite checking the settings in the Freebox RGB, HDMI...
It might be due to overheating of the Freebox which is also connected via Wi-Fi... anyway, problem not resolved.

    0/ MAKE SURE TO CONNECT THE SCART CABLE TO AV1
    1TURN ON YOUR FREEBOX
    
    2: ON THE BUTTONS OF YOUR FREEBOX, THERE SHOULD NORMALLY BE A YELLOW BUTTON with an arrow THAT DISPLAYS THE DISPLAY SETTINGS. (WHEN PRESSED) DO THIS
    
    3: IN THE OUTPUT TAB, SET IT TO RGB
    IN HDMI CHOOSE AUTO IF THAT DOESN'T WORK THEN PROCEED STEP BY STEP STARTING WITH THE RESOLUTION 480P60 AND SO ON. FOR EXAMPLE, MY SAMSUNG TELEVISION IS HD AND NOT HD READY, SO IT DOES NOT ACCEPT A HIGHER RESOLUTION NOR THE AUTO FUNCTION
    THEN IN CONVERSION SET IT TO LETTERBOX AND THAT'S IT.
    PS. A HDMI CABLE CAN ALSO SOLVE SOME PROBLEMS
    
    AS FOR THE FREEBOX, IT NEEDS TO BE WELL VENTILATED, SO DO NOT ENCLOSE IT AND DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING ON TOP OF IT, OTHERWISE IT MAY OVERHEAT

the problem is simple
on the remote control of your Freebox there is a yellow button with a black arrow, press it and you will access the display settings
on output, select rgb, auto format, letterbox conversion. And on hdmi, start by selecting 480p60, which corresponds to the resolution your HD TV can support, and exit the menu. Your problem should be solved. If not, repeat the process until you find the right resolution. If it works, you can try to see if your TV supports a higher resolution; the image will only get better
