AutoCAD Copy/Paste Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, in AutoCAD, I need to copy and paste a plan to another... however, when I copy/paste, either nothing happens or it creates a much larger diagram when I copy
how do I do this?
I thought it might be a scale issue, but it’s noted 1:1 on both plans... what should I do??

Hello,

If sometimes your copy/paste doesn’t work, select your initial plan and explode it.
Then reselect it and do “copy from point,” and on your command line, type 0,0,0.
Then “paste as block,” and once again on your command line type 0,0,0.

That way, if the scale is different you can select your plan (as a block) and rescale it starting from the base point of the UCS (0,0,0).

Thank you for your response, but it's still not working... I must have made mistakes on two points:

You tell me to explode the plan, but I don't know what you mean by that, how do you do it concretely?

Then when I select it, it works (all the selected points turn blue), but nothing pastes: I do "paste as a block," then I type 0,0,0, and it asks me for an insertion point on the command line, I hit "enter" while positioning myself at an intersection but with no result... it gives me this message on my command line: Replacing [simpl14.shx] with [simplex.shx]
I hope you can respond, it's been a nightmare since Friday with this!!!

You tell me to break the plan, but I don't know what you mean by that, how do we do it concretely?

To break the plan, use the "decompose" icon; otherwise, in your command bar, type "decompos" :)
Feel free to repeat this function until you can't anymore.
Furthermore, once decomposed, type the command "purge"; in the window that opens, go to "purge everything," and repeat this action until you can't anymore. (This helps clean up the file)

Then, I hope you'll be able to paste it onto your other drawing :)

Precisely when your command line asks for an intersection point, that's when you need to type 0,0,0
(this corresponds to the origin point of the scu)

Replacing [simpl14.shx] with [simplex.shx]
These are font styles; it just informs you. :)

If it still doesn't work, open your software a second time and do the same manipulations by switching from software to software.

Copy and paste works but it is still disproportionate in size
However, I managed to execute the decompos and purge commands

The problem seems unsolvable!

The file I need to copy from comes from a supplier who sent it to me, could that be the problem?
I've unlocked all the layers

Pricing tab, then linear pricing, after that you know what you have to do...
