find a copy-paste Solved/Closed

Hello,
let me quickly explain my problem. I did a copy-paste of a text 5 minutes ago... and since then
I did another one... and I would like to know if it's possible to recover that copy-paste...

If Word was not open, and the "clipboard" option was activated in Word, then it's dead. Windows only stores one thing at a time in the clipboard, and when it erases, it erases. To put multiple documents in the clipboard, you need special software that constantly scans the content of the clipboard and stores it in case you need it later. Zord has such a function. But if you weren't using it at that moment, then it's dead.

I often have the same problem and honestly, we can't be the only ones!

So why don't Microsoft, Google, Apple, etc... invent double copy-paste:

Right-click: copy number 1 and underneath copy number 2...

Even more... For me, 4 would be nice!

It's true that it seems simple and it's curious that Microsoft and all other operating systems haven't yet integrated a function to retrieve a previous or even earlier copy. Yes, some software does that, okay, but installing it consumes CPU resources for nothing in the end, and I believe that just a few lines of code would be enough to create a function or some sort of lightweight, flexible mini-program that uses very, very little CPU. Maybe one day an independent developer could take it on... it could even earn them a lot of money, even in open source.
