Hi,
A bit of life is a bit that allows you to check the communication between 2 automata.

The life bit indicates that the API is alive. Indeed, in some APIs, if you set it to "STOP," communication continues to function. As a result, another connected API may believe that everything is going well when in fact it is in "STOP," and therefore the exchanges are invalid.

I am very curious to know a little more about the famous "life bits." Could it just be information like "state bit"? In which language?
Since I am leaving, I look forward to reading your response later.

Thank you
