Hello everyone!
I just bought the unlocked version of a Samsung SGH U900 SW Version: U900XXHC6.
I was able to install my free game through the Samsung Fan Club website without any problems by downloading it via the Wap link received by SMS.
However, I've tried to transfer it to my phone (in the "Others" directory), for example, or onto my memory card in the same "Others" folder, and even putting it in a new folder "games" created manually.
I've tried with .jar files alone, or .jar files accompanied by their .jad, but the problem is the same!!!
I've seen that for the E900, a certain unlock code is required for the phone; isn't there the same thing for the U900??
Or is it like some Nokias running on Symbian OS where you had to manually unlock the phone for the installation of any application...
Since the phone is very recent, I haven’t found anything on Google...
Please, HELP ME!

I want to put games on my Samsung fun club, but they're on my mobile and I can't play them.

me too I have the same problem
You're a bit greedy for the activation code of the menu on the U900, this phone has just been released so wait a little longer. In the meantime, for the games, there's the method I explained two posts above that works really well.
Don't worry, I'm waiting for this code too, but in the meantime, don't just put any code in your phone or you risk really blocking it :)

It seemed to me that your problem was resolved....
You wanted to know how to install games without having the unlock code for the U900 (the code that allows, among other things, to see the "run" function in the menus).
The method I explained above works very well; in two days I must have fed about fifty games to my U900 (it passes the time at work lol xD)
So, while we wait for a little genius to find us the right code, this is the only way I know.
One last remark, before you tell me that you can't download the games, since I had the issue, you need to make sure that the games are for Samsung and have a resolution of 240x320 for the U900; otherwise, either it doesn't download, or it crashes when you install it. The best way to find the right games is still through a certain downloading software (eMule, but shhh :x), search for "240x320 jar samsung," and you'll see you already have quite a few responses....
Cheers
Samsung PoWa!!!! ;D

Thank you Youki69 for your solution, I just tested it and it works perfectly :)
I will summarize it here:
Here is a solution to install a game or an application in .jar format (with the corresponding .jad) whether pirated or not :p on a Samsung U900 (and it should work on a number of other Samsung phones but I don't have the list...)
1) Go to:
http://www.euploader.com
2) Click on browse
3) Look for the .jar file on your hard drive
Click on upload, an ID and the CODE will be displayed
4) Go to WAP with your phone
5) Type: http://euploader.com/wap/index.php
6) Enter the ID and CODE received previously on the site
7) Repeat the whole process with the .jad
Launch your application, it works!
Cost of the operation: a WAP connection.

My problem is that I want to install a mobile payment software, a Java application developed by Motorola, which is normally compatible, and therefore it's impossible to retrieve codes via WAP?!?
I was at Samsung this morning at the Opéra in Paris and they sent me to Orange!
Hang in there.... and thank you!

Hi!
I feel the same way, I can't find the emojis to insert in the texts. It's strange that a phone like this doesn't have them... I must not have looked hard enough! :s
I have another question: is there a way to change the display of the screen when receiving a call?
I think it's not very nice, there's the number and the caller's name in a small corner. For some names, I've associated an image, and even then, the image appears very small at the bottom.
Maybe we can personalize all this a bit, right? A bit like when you change the theme... The phone I had before was 3 years old, but the screen when I called or received a call was much prettier! ^^
If someone can help me... Thank you.

There are apparently only two ways to add smileys on the Samsung [U900]:
In a text message:
** Go to Options (left key) => 3. Insert => 2. Text emoticon
In this menu, you can choose by scrolling down with the down arrow smileys like:
:-y @>-- (_)3 \\_/ 7:^|
etc...
or
** Go to Options (left key) => 1. Add an item => 1. Image
and look in your "Images" folder for images that you have previously placed on your phone manually. None are stored on the phone by default.
I am reopening the discussion around the initial topic:
Does anyone have a solution to install a .jar (+.jad) format game on the Samsung [U900], without going through a Wap link?

It's me again! ^^
I forgot to mention, we can’t use emojis, but on top of that, we can’t even read them either! I tried to send myself an emoji via SMS with my old phone that’s 3 years old and that HAS EMOJIS lol, and... nothing at all! The message received on the U900 is empty! Grrr!
And you talk about the barcode, but I can’t find it in the menu... can you explain to me where it is?! Thanks
Ciao Ciao!

It is located in the applications at the level of games, like, there are not any games at all, which I also find weird.
Yes, I knew that we couldn't read them, it annoys me all this; by the way, before the weekend, I'm going to try to see my seller for more information, I'll keep you posted.
Sorry to clutter the forum a bit with the question about games :(

To return to the initial subject, I still encounter a problem (despite your advice) when I try to install a game on my U900.
I downloaded the games with the correct resolution, created the .jad files with JADmaker, uploaded them to my FTP, and entered the address on the WAP. I am then warned that the content is "unauthenticated", I proceed, come across some information regarding the file... I click "save", the download apparently starts, remains stuck at 0%, and I face an error message: "No match found".
I have tried this procedure with about ten games, and I encounter the same problem every time...

A simpler tutorial to install games and applications:
1) Go to http://www.euploader.com
2) Click on browse
3) Search for the .jar on your hard drive
Click on upload, an ID and the CODE will appear
4) Go to WAP with your mobile (use the built-in browser of the U900, it does not work with Opera Mini)
5) Type: http://euploader.com/wap/index.php
6) Enter the ID and the CODE received earlier on the site
7) The file will install
All you have to do is launch the application! ^^

Hi
I have a U900V and I haven't found any technique that works (the same as the U700) and the last one (the one with the uploader) doesn't work either. Actually, I upload my .jar file to the uploader and with my U900V, I download it, and when it reaches 100%, my phone reboots directly, meaning I see the big U900V with the loading bar underneath and the welcome message, and that's it (without entering the PIN code). Then, when I look in "Games and more," I can't find my game.

It's strange because my technique works really well for me, and I've already installed more than 30 games on my phone, and all of that for free!
You need to follow the procedure carefully; the games on your PC must be -jar!
Then you go to euploader, download the game, and with your phone, you enter the codes, press send and download, and you'll find your game in your games files!
Your phone must have a problem then; check directly with Samsung! Explain your issue to them.

Hello,
Have you found a solution to get games on the SGH U900 without going through WAP or the internet? Because I can't access it (or my plan is used up in 1 minute!)
I can put .jar, .jad games on it, but I can't read them afterwards
Thanks for your future replies ;)

I'm a bit disappointed... I wanted a phone to show off when I tell my friends that it doesn't play games... well, it's like that!
I'm sure the manufacturers did it on purpose so you'd buy it, but it's clear that people won't buy a mobile game like they buy a PC game! A mobile game is more like a mini game... anyway
Plus, I just found out that emojis don't exist in SMS on this phone... my friends are going to laugh so much
I'm going to try the method via WAP
By the way, can someone tell me how to make ringtones not appear in the MP3 player?
"I should have done like everyone else and bought a Sony Ericsson!"

Hello everyone. I found the code that allows access to the phone's settings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I don't know how to make it so I can play the downloaded game...
The code is: *#0002*28346#
You need to type it on the main screen like you would enter a phone number. After that, I searched a bit but didn't find anything. I'm waiting for a more experienced tinkerer to help us all!!!

Yeah, it’s clear that it's a shame, especially since even on old phones, there are plenty of emojis! So I don't get it, there must be a solution! lol ;)
