Old horror movie Trumpet?

Hello,
I'm trying to find the title of a horror movie.

I have very little memory of it:
A little boy finds an alien egg among hundreds of others in a cave. He brings it home, and from this egg hatches a friendly little ET with a trunk.
I keep thinking about Trompette, maybe the name of the alien....
Meanwhile, a second egg hatches from which a evil twin comes out and starts killing the boy's family...
I know that all the eggs are destroyed in the end and that this movie is at least 15 years old or more...

I know it's very little, but thank you in advance...

    I am 28 years old and when I was little, I saw a movie called "Trompette." I loved it and cried. I have 3 children now and I would like to share my memories with them.

      It's not the movie called TROMPETTE, it's the character from the film THE NEW EXTRATERRESTRIALS, isn't it?

        If we don't have the info, it's simply because this movie is unavailable, sorry. In the original version, maybe, but not in the French version.

    Hello, I'm also looking for the movie, searched all the sites but can't find it, I'm frustrated waiting for someone to help me, that would be cool. I cried every time I saw it (twice) but I need to find it because for me it's an idol trumpet. Thank you in advance.
