Good evening everyone,
I'm desperately looking for the title of a romantic movie from around 1990.
It was broadcast on France 2 around 1995. It's between Pretty Woman and Cinderella, telling the story of a thirty-something woman who isn't particularly pretty and has a strange look, coming from a working-class background and living alone with her father (of Italian descent), as her mother has passed away. One day, after a car accident, she meets a charming and wealthy man who has a very nice car.
She manages to see him from time to time, but he is ashamed of her; there is a scene where she decides to wear her mother's dress (which is horrible) to meet her colleagues. She realizes that he is not the right man for her. But in the end, he realizes that he loves her and scratches his own car. Happy ending.
