Remove "is writing"

Hello,

I would like to know how to remove "is typing" in WLM when I am writing to someone? Also, a friend (who can't remember how) managed to display the number of people in the taskbar level of the window of the people we are talking to. (I have two contacts talking to me and it shows 2 windows..)
I hope I am clear enough.
