Hello,
after downloading WLM with Windows Live Plus, I can't see my contacts' photos in the conversation window,
can someone help me? I've been struggling with the configuration for several days, but to no avail, I can't get it to work
it's not very important, but before formatting my PC I had WLM and I could see the photos of my contacts when I was chatting with them, and I don't understand why I can't anymore
you've guessed it, I'm not very tech-savvy, I also don't know how to find out which exact version of WLM I actually have

Hello, I have a similar problem. A week ago, I could see the MSN photos of my contacts. However, now I can only see the photos of some contacts. I haven't done any updates or changed anything. For certain people, I see their photo, but for others, I only see the blue MSN logo (which sometimes appears just before the photo shows up, but this time it never appears)
If someone could help me, that would be nice.

When I say "no pictures of my contacts," it doesn't mean that I don't see my contacts
on the Messenger window, I see my contacts' photos with their status, that's fine. What I mean is that when I'm chatting on my conversation window, before formatting my PC, I had my contact's photo at the top and mine at the bottom left, that's what I'm talking about. I just found that you go to Tools/Options/Layout/check Show Contacts, it should work, I have the latest version.

I had forgotten that in the new MSN the images are located on the left side of the chat window
In the older versions, they were on the right.

I have the same problem as some of you, since I installed the latest version of MSN, I can no longer see the photo of SOME of my contacts.
That is to say, for my problem, the issue with the small arrow has nothing to do with it; I've seen that little arrow, and when I click on it, it shows or hides the area where my contact's photo and mine should be. However, the problem is that I can see mine, but above, my contact's photo does not appear; instead, there is a little gray figure!!!

Thank you, Elo! It's working perfectly!! You actually need to delete the Contacts folder in the Microsoft/Windows Live folder! (You need to show hidden folders to access it -6> C:/Users/Your PC Name/Appdata/Microsoft/Windows Live/ and delete Contacts and reconnect!!)
