Problem with components when I make video games

A few years ago I decided to build a PC tower from a kit. I wanted to spend a maximum of €2000. Not knowing much about computers, I asked someone who could make a selection suited to the budget.

The final list was this:

- Case: MSI MPG Sekira 100R - Windowed
- Power supply: MSI MPG A850GF - 850W - full-modular - 80 PLUS Gold
- Motherboard: MSI B550-A Pro
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 8x 3.80GHz
- AMD cooler: Wraith Prism fan
- RAM: 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200 MHz High Speed (2x 16GB - Dual Channel)
- SSD NVMe Storage: 2000GB Kingston NV1 M.2 NVMe SSD (Read: 2100MB/s | Write: 1700MB/s)
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 - 10GB

And so, it’s been a few years now that I have that at home, but I’ve always had a problem when I play video games. Not all of them, but especially the newer ones. I won’t tell you the problem right away; I’ll try to get you to guess it.

With this configuration in front of you, do you already see a potential issue? Compatibility of components, anything not suitable, etc.? Is this a good config for that price, could it have been better?

Suggest possible problems I might have with this config when playing “recent” games (less than 15 years old). I’ll reveal my issue in my next post.

After maybe that the hardware is good and I just need to configure it to stop my problem, we’ll see that in a second step.

    Meh, this kind of riddle-like message is not great........ Especially when you’re rehashing an already known issue:

    My PC heats up and Fan Noise (gaming) - Cooling

    The cooling system is unsuitable for gaming use, it’s the stock AMD cooler for this processor, you need something reliable, right now it’s just for office work.

    And since there’s nothing to add, I’ll leave it at that personally.

      Damn, I totally forgot I had posted here as well. At the time I had submitted my problem on several computer forums, with more or less success in terms of replies. A thousand apologies for making this duplicate. For my "little" defense, in my other post I see that after my last message I got two more responses, and I never received notifications for those, otherwise I would have come back to reply. And here with this post, same thing, I didn't get a notification even though I had asked to be emailed when there was a reply. So yes it's my fault, but not entirely. ^^

      Regarding the "riddle," I wanted to bring a bit of change, to avoid the question being too serious, but also to create a sort of quote so people can see if there’s a problem just with the list of components. It was misinterpreted, too bad.

      Would you still recommend the Be Quiet! Pure Rock 2 three years later, or since then we’ve done better and I should go for a more recent/performance model?

        several small problems

        1- see on the MSI site bios update

        2- see in Task Manager (Performance) at the bottom right (speed)

        if your RAM is indeed 3200MHz.

        if that is not the case, go into the bios and enable (XMP/DOCP).

        3- disk F failing to check with "Crystaldiskinfo"
