Signal cable not detected on iiyama monitor
SolvedHello,
the iiyama ProLite B2283HS screen used as a secondary display for my iMac or my MacBook now shows the message "Signal cable not detected". Until now it worked fine on the iMac or the MacBook.
I unplugged all the cables and then reconnected them. Still nothing!
What solution do you propose, please?

Hello,
Swap the cables around in the electrical outlets and make sure they are properly plugged into the screen you mentioned.
How old are the cables, roughly?

Hello, thank you for your response. I thought about changing the position cable and it didn't work. The cable must be more than 5 years old.

The DVI port of the iiayama monitor was malfunctioning. The issue was resolved by Mrs.
