Hello, as part of an association activity (8 people), we have opened a Gmail inbox with the aim of communicating with external associations without using the email accounts of each participant. For this, we want all 8 members of the association (to whom we have given the password) to be able to access it at any time with the username and password without any other type of control.

I have searched in Google's spaces and always come across the same answer: I have to register the 8 people one by one by providing their email addresses!!!

Is it possible? If so, how can we proceed? Thank you.

Best regards

    Hello

I was passing by and just saw your message.

I noticed that it's possible to create aliases for a main email address, up to 30 aliases per gmail.com account.

    Could that be a solution?

I saw that you could set up forwarding of messages to another address (for example, each person could receive a copy of the emails received in the gmail inbox to their personal inbox).

    Have a good evening

    Cath

    Hello,

Alternatively, you can also use a generic address that corresponds to a group, and all 8 members are part of. This way, they log in with their address but can reply from the generic inbox. Here’s where to configure it: https://groups.google.com

If someone sends a message to the generic inbox, everyone will receive the message in their respective inboxes. It seems possible to reply on behalf of the generic address (via the group, that is) from Gmail's webmail, or from the group space, it seems.
