Update issue: error 0x800f0922

Solved

Hello everyone,

For the past few days, I've been having a problem with the cumulative update KB5062660 for Windows 11 Version 24H2. Indeed, when I try to update, everything goes well until my computer restarts, where upon reaching 100%, the update indicates the following: "

Something didn't go as planned. Don't worry - reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer."

When my PC restarts and I go to Windows Update, it shows the following error: error 0x800f0922.

I have tried several times to install this update, but the problem keeps recurring.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello,

You can perform a repair without data loss or an update,

Download the Windows 11 ISO file; it can be downloaded directly with a button if compatible.

    https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11

Once you have the ISO file, right-click > Open with > Windows Explorer

Then click on the setup.exe file in the folder.

Follow the instructions to "install" without wiping everything; make sure the green checkmarks showing that you are keeping everything are all okay.
