Find the TPM on Gigabyte X99-SLI Motherboard

Hello!

Wanting to enable TPM 2.0 in order to be able to install Windows 11.

Unfortunately, I can't find the TPM function in the BIOS.

Is it indeed on this motherboard or will I have to get another case/PC? My PC is almost recent...

    not really

    You would need a complementary module if you want the TPM

    Expect between 15 & 20 Eugro

    Hello,

    There is no point in enabling TPM, although it is normally already integrated into your motherboard, because anyway your processor is not compatible with Windows 11; you have to use the registry method to bypass and install Windows 11 in compatibility mode.

      Not wanting to change my hardware, I will go through the system to enable TPM activation, knowing that I haven't seen any TPM indication in my BIOS (it must be activated in another way or under a different name?).

        ptt for Intel and fTPM for AMD it seems to me.

        The TPM is used for BitLocker and Windows Hello to bypass brute force.
