For a text commentary that includes an introduction, development, and conclusion, how many pages would it normally be on Word? With line spacing of 1.5 and font size 12.

Hello

A4 = 3000 characters without paragraphs, 2500 with. 5/6 pages. 36 x 90 characters.

75 characters per line, 30 lines per page, 2250 characters per page, paperback book.

This type of question is recurrent, and we don't really know what it's based on, probably a school assignment.

Indeed, there is only an approximate answer because even with the same font size, characters can take up more or less space depending on the chosen font and its formatting.

Moreover, it will be necessary to use margins to make the reading acceptable, not to start the text immediately at the beginning of the page, to separate the introduction, development, and conclusion blocks which should have a coherent relative volume and which can themselves contain a certain number of paragraphs.

In short, unless it's a question for a game, is there any solution other than drafting one’s own itinerary, letting Word tell us how many characters it occupies, then adjusting or expanding according to the result to comply with the requirement?
