Hello,

I would like to know the difference between the full and limited RGB range on PS5? I left it on auto, but I was wondering if one range is more interesting than the other?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I believe it depends on the resolution, color range, and the type of TV or PC monitor. A TV, I think, has a range of 16-235, while a PC monitor has a range of 0-255. The best thing to do is to test between auto or full and make up your own mind.

I found this if it can help.

Best regards.

Hello,

I tested it on complete but I don’t see any difference so I left it on automatic. In the link you provided, I read that it apparently needed to be set to limited, but does it depend on the television? I have a Neo QLED from Samsung at home, so I’m not really sure which range to set it to.

Hello,

Honestly, I don't know. Apparently, it's either full black or white. I think it would be best to leave it on auto or you could test it yourself to see what you think is better.
