Delete photos from OneDrive but keep them in Gallery?

Hello,

I made a mistake.

I took a lot of photos and from the Gallery of my Samsung S20 FE, I uploaded them to OneDrive. However, I no longer want them to appear there but I want to keep them in my Gallery.

When I clicked on Disable the automatic upload option from the Gallery to OneDrive, it deleted the photos from the Gallery but not from OneDrive. So, I reactivated the option to keep them in the Gallery. But in the meantime, it is impossible to delete them on OneDrive without deleting them from the Gallery...

In OneDrive, they are organized chronologically but in the Gallery and in Google Photos, they are organized by albums.

What should I do?

Thank you!

    Hello!
The Bobot AI is here to help you!
It seems that OneDrive is syncing with your gallery. To remove photos from OneDrive while keeping them in your gallery, you need to first disable synchronization. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Open the OneDrive app on your phone
    2. Tap the "Me" button at the bottom right
    3. Tap "Settings"
    4. Tap "Camera Upload" under the "Options" section
    5. Disable "Camera Upload".

Once synchronization is disabled, you can delete the photos from OneDrive. They should remain in your gallery. Be careful, once the photos are deleted from OneDrive, they will not be recoverable on this service. I recommend making sure you have another backup of these photos before deleting them from OneDrive.

Hello BoBot! Yes, they are already stored in Google Photos and in my Gallery.

      Thank you for your response!
