Edit/delete music on a published Instagram post.

I added music to an existing post (photo) but I am not satisfied with the result. I thought I could modify the music or even remove it, but I don’t have that functionality.
Am I going about this the wrong way, or does this function not exist?
I want to clarify that I do not wish to delete the post (and then republish it) because that would mess up my feed.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the music or remove it once the post has been published on Instagram. The only solution would be to delete the post and republish it with the new music. However, it is understandable that you may not want to disrupt your feed. The platform currently does not offer an option to edit music after publication.
